In recent days, a interview given by Angélica for Boa Forma Ten years ago, it once again became the subject of some news and entertainment websites. The reason: the muse's diet, which at the time, maintained a balanced diet without meat, but was not at all restrictive.
Today, at 50 years old, the presenter continues to exude health and a toned body. In a recent conversation with Ana Maria Braga, on the program Mais Você, Angélica confirmed that she still does not consume beef and chicken (something she hasn't done, in fact, since she was 13 years old).
“I was even vegan, but with my career, the pace of work and travel, I couldn't maintain it. Because of the hotels, logistics were very complicated. And at the time, they didn’t have as many options as they do today,” he said.

10 Angelica's diet tricks
1. What is your breakfast like?
When I go to work out early, I drink an almond milk shake with berries, chia and whey protein. On the way back, I drink fruit juice. On days when I'm not going to exercise, I just drink a juice and eat a gluten-free bread sandwich with buffalo cheese. Sometimes I replace the bread with tapioca with jam or ciabatta bread with a scrambled egg.
2. What do you carry in your bag to avoid being hungry at work?
I always take a light snack, as I don't go more than three hours without eating. It could be a cereal bar or gluten-free sweet biscuits.
3. What treats can't you give up?
Organic or gluten-free cookies.
4. Do you have any feeding tricks?
Always eat a salad or soup before the main meal and don't go too long without eating. Otherwise, hunger comes with everything.
5. How do you season your salad?
With olive oil and pink salt.
6. What is your favorite legume?
Beans, always. I'm eating a lot of azuki because it has more iron.
7. What’s never missing from your fridge?
Natural juices, coconut water and buffalo cheese curd.
8. What kind of food makes you feel bloated?
I did several tests to see if I had any type of food allergy and didn't find anything. I feel like reducing gluten has helped with digestion and reducing bloating.
9. Do you usually eat at home or in restaurants?
I almost always eat meals at home. Luciano and I rarely go out to dinner. For lunch, I eat at home or take a lunch box to work.
10. Is it easier or difficult to control your diet with children at home?
Of course, there is always cake, sweets and other temptations nearby, but I believe this only gets in the way for those who are not really looking for results. The secret for those who have a husband and children at home is to stay focused.
